“Liberty cannot be preserved without general knowledge among the people.” John Adams
John Adams was the second President of the United States and instrumental in obtaining the Liberty and Freedom we so much take for granted today. His quote concerning knowledge among the people is so very true. It is however not the fault of the people who put their trust in the elected. If the elected mislead the people, then the people cannot fully be faulted. But as John Adams said, if the people are not given the truth, the knowledge, then it cannot be expected for them to maintain their Liberty.
